Tellers are a group of 20 or more
parishioners, both men and women, with the responsibility of processing the monetary
contributions to the church. The Rector, Treasurer and our auditors set the guidelines
under which we serve.
Teams of 3 or 4 serve each Sunday, rotating
more or less on a monthly basis. The process takes approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours. You will
have the opportunity to receive communion before you begin your duties.
Each person on the list is provided with an
information sheet upon entry and is placed with an experienced team until familiar with
the process. Schedules as to dates of service are provided quarterly.
Coordinators serve a 2 year terms, with
duties that consist of preparing the schedule, taking an active role in the processing and
being ready to assist whenever needed.
New members are not only welcome but needed.
