ALIVE! - ALexandrians InVolved Ecumenically!

We host a last-Saturday feeding program to alleviate hunger in Alexandria. See our ALIVE! Food Distribution page for more information.

Boy Scouts Troop 2005

Resurrection sponsors a Boy Scout troop whose motto is "No obstacles to adventure." This troop is primarily for children who have autism or Ausberger's Syndrome.

Carpenter's Shelter

A homeless shelter in our city that our church helped to found, where we provide and serve dinner once a month.

Resurrection Children's Center - RCC

Resurrection Children's Center is a non-sectarian, non-profit, cooperative preschool created and supported by Episcopal the Church of the Resurrection. The school admits students of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities. RCC is an inclusion preschool. Children with special educational needs or disabilities are included in each class. The adult-to-student ratio is no less than 1:4.

VOICE (Virginians Organized for Interface Community Engagement)

VOICE is the community organizing group that serves the four counties of Northern Virginia (Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, and Prince William). Resurrection is an exploratory member of VOICE, through which we work with other faith and civic communities to bring the voice of justice into the public arena.

The Fountains at Washington House

The continuing care retirement facility across Beauregard Street from our church. We hold a Holy Eucharist service there at 10:30 am on the last Tuesday of each month.

Hermitage The Methodist Church's senior assisted living center across Beauregard Street from our church.
The Northern Virginia Community College - Alexandria Campus The Alexandria Campus of the Northern Virginia Community College is across Beauregard Street from our church (next door to The Fountains and Hermitage). This campus offers a variety of academic programs, continuing education classes, events and campus facilities to more than 17,000 students each year.
