Sunday-evening Forums

The Sunday-evening Forum, which meets on the last Sunday of each month for a potluck dinner and class, is teaching each other about characters in the Bible. Each session will be led by a different member of the group.

We would be delighted if you would join us at 6 pm on the last Sunday of each month. Bring food to share (if you can) and expect warm fellowship with some learning thrown in. Dinner is at 6 pm and the program begins at 6:45 pm.

Second Sunday PM Forum 2/10 about "Acceptance"
"Acceptance: What's the difference between acceptance and settling?" That's the topic for our Sunday-evening Forum on February 10. We will gather in Zabriskie Hall at Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill for setup beginning at 6:00 pm, potluck at 6:30 pm, then see clips from the 1991 movie "Prince of Tides" to tease out the difference between acceptance and settling. A viewer said of this movie, "a poignant study of a man coping with the long-term effects of childhood trauma."
